Telmat, previously Money Express, with its new brand name now keeps on offering financial services in Italy and abroad.
From 1996 to 2006 Telmat has been the Money Express Agent for MoneyGram Service in Italy, one of the worldwide leaders in real time money transfer, through a network of about 1200 cash points located all around the national territory. The company was Agent for MoneyGram Service in Switzerland and Austria too.
Over the years, the company after acquiring a vast knowledge of the requirements the immigrants have here in Italy, together with the various sales promotion tools specific for these communities, has been broadening both its financial and non financial services through the launch and the development of a Cash account System. This system was created in order to credit money on a foreign bank account. The company also launched the prepaid rechargeable MoneyExpress card as well as the Phone System Division for the International telephony.
The cash account system was the first "cash to account" service set up on a national scale.
The Phone System division became one of the main phone operator ethnic dedicated.
On the other hand, the management of the company fair contributed to the launching and development of Western Union in Italy during the years 1993-1995.
